She is survived by her two loving sons, Jeremy Alexander Castro Rivas and Bryan Anthony Rivas, her mother Maria Adela Vasquez, sisters; America Rivas, Sandra Rivas Serrano, Bessy Rivas, brothers; Marco A. Rivas, Luis A. Rivas, Fredy Rivas, Mario R. Rivas and his wife Liliana.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Advantage Funeral Home Chapel, 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10:00 am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 6921 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas. Interment will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
