Mr. Vasquez loved fishing, volunteer work, running, cooking and barbequing. Juan enjoyed watching college football, with his favorite team being the Texas A & M Aggies. Mr. Vasquez could be found spending time with his family and was very proud of the Houston Police Department. Very often, Mr. Vasquez visited the Houston Police Officer's Union as well.
Juan is survived by his wife, Ana Maria Vasquez; daughter Valeria Lazaro (Richard Lazaro (Deceased)); brother Ruben Sandoval (Lupita) and brother Gerardo Vasquez; grandchild Andrew Jose Vasquez, grandchild Carlos Alberto Vasquez and grandchild Richard Lazaro.
Juan was preceded in death by son Alberto Vasquez (Patty Vasquez); father Jose Vasquez and mother Amelda Cantu; brother Reynaldo Sandoval; brother Ramiro Sandoval and brother Samuel Vasquez.
A visitation for Juan will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77060. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:30 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman Street, Houston, Texas 77018. A committal service will occur Friday, February 5, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77060.
Serving as pallbearers are Andrew Jose Vasquez, Carlos Alberto Vasquez, Eusebio Garza, Ray Hunt, Jose Garza and M. Garza.
