Juan Alberto Ramos, age 69, of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday August 20, 2018. Juan was born October 7, 1948 in Alamo Ranch, Texas. He was married to Judy Ann Ramos on July 1, 1976. Juan had a very long and successful career in construction. He served in the United States Army from May 1, 1968 to May 1, 1970 and was honorably discharged. Juan had a passion for gardening, dogs and cats.
Juan is survived by; children and their spouses Noe Cruz and his wife Juliet, Juanita Ramos and her husband Carlos, Carlos Cruz and his wife Sonia, Juan Ramos Jr., Sara Ramos and her husband Johnny Cervantes and Amadeo Ramos, siblings Roel Ramos, Arabella Calderon and Laura Gonzales and grandchildren Adriana, Christian, Esteban, Lexi, Sonny, Kacey, Julyssa, Daisy, Jay, Angel, Benjamin, Noah and Emily.
Juan was preceded in death by his wife Judy Ann Ramos; parents Amadeo Ramos and Juanita Tello Ramos.
A visitation for Juan will be held Monday, August 27, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home - Grand Chapel, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Funeral Home - Grand Chapel. A committal service with military honors will follow immediately at 1:00 p.m. at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are Johnny Cervantes, Christian Ramos, Raul Perez, Gonzalo Cantu, Renee Calderon and Rigo Ponce.
