Juan Medina Perez

Juan was born May 16, 1931 to Vicente Perez and Fidela Medina. He completed 4th grade in Mexico. He married at the age of 19 Romana Martinez who was 20 years of age, in "el Estado de Tamaulipas Mexico" May 19, 1950. Juan was self-employed as a subcontractor for concrete. He enjoyed working and only retired a few years prior to his passing. He also enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Juan Perez is survived by his two sons: Rene' Perez and Arturo Perez and five daughters: Irma Barron, Alicia Morales, Olivia Narvaez, Leticia Delacruz and Romana Perez, twenty-four grandchildren, thirty eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; his siblings: Francisco Perez and Ruth Longoria and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call to pay their respects from 5:00pm to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Brookside Funeral Home, located at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, with a celebration of life service being held at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Gamaliel Talavera officiating. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2016, with a short prayer service to begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Grand Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery. For those wishing to, a guestbook will be available both days for signing.
