Juan had a passion for gardening and fishing. He loved his family and he will be missed dearly.
His preceded in death by his parents, Maria Louisa & Guadalupe Martinez and brothers, Ramon Martinez, David Martinez, and Daniel Martinez; stepson, Richard Stone.
He is survived by his son, Armando Martinez; daughter, Angel Spurgeon and her husband Robert Spurgeon; nine grandchildren, Giovanni, Jessica, Christopher, Kayla, Kyle, Shelby, Richey, Ashley and Chris; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Andrea Jauregui, Dolores Prieto and numerous nieces and nephews.
All services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Brookside Funeral Home and Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. Please join the family for visitation at 1:00 PM, the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM and Committal Service at 3:00 PM.
