Juan Jose Juarez

Juan Juarez, known to many as Joe, was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 29th, 1952, to the parents of Jesus and Luz Juarez. He grew up with his eight siblings Benny, Gilbert, Irma, Jesus Juarez II, Maria, Pete, Ricky, and Sylvia. He spent his childhood exploring the city, working hard, and playing football.

During his high school years, he met Yolanda Juarez. After dating for four years, Joe married his high school sweetheart. They both decided to move to Houston, Texas, and raised their two daughters, Sandra Yanez, and JoAnn Juarez. Joe and Yolanda went on to accomplish a loving marriage of 52 years.

Joe was able to accomplish many things throughout his life. He raised a loving family, owned a mechanic shop, and retired as a diesel mechanic and shop foreman. He was known to enjoy singing and listening to Tejano music, throwing grand parties, sparking conversation, watching the Texans, Astros, and Rockets games, and most notably spending time with his friends and family.

Joe passed away in his home surrounded by family on February 1, 2024. He was a husband, friend, father, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife Yolanda Juarez, two daughters Sandra Yanez (Albert Yanez) and JoAnn Juarez, five of his siblings Irma, Sylvia, Benny, Ricky, and Pete, five grandchildren Julian Palomo, Sarah Ehrhart (Christopher Ehrhart), Lauren Palomo, Cassi Barron, and Mia Juarez, and five great grandchildren Xavier Ehrhart, Arian Ehrhart, Brayden Ehrhart, Annelise Rodriguez, and Adalynn Macias.

Joe will be dearly missed by his family, relatives, and friends.

A visitation for Juan will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A vigil service will occur Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 7:00 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A visitation will occur Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A committal service will occur Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, Texas 77039.
