Juan Nunez Herrera

Our beloved Juan Herrera’s life stands as a true testament of a life well lived and dedicated fully to God. He was a remarkable man of God whose life’s purpose was to share the good news and empower others to do the same.

His ministerial journey began soon after he was baptized at the age of 17. His first accomplishment was his children whom he loved more than anything. He raised them all in this life of faith and diligently prayed they would also have their own personal relationship with God, in hopes they would find their purpose and continue his legacy. He desired this for his grandchildren and that all his lineage would know the Lord closely.

Juan was a loving pastor for many years while traveling the world as a missionary. He held many titles such as a mentor, preacher, teacher, counselor, servant, father and so much more. During his life, he ordained many pastors, founded numerous churches, launched a Bible institute, and consistently preached the word of God. These were only a few of his earthly achievements.

Juan Herrera’s life will forever serve as a reminder of the great honor it is to live this life in service of our creator Jesus Christ.

A visitation for Juan will be held Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 18, 2024 at 10:30 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A burial committal will occur Monday, March 18, 2024 at Brookside Memorial Park.
