Juan David "Jd" Garza

Juan David “JD” Garza, 32, entered eternal rest on December 10, 2019. He was born June 20, 1987 in Houston, Texas. JD graduated from Mac Arthur High School. While attending Mac Arthur, he was a part of the Arts Program, which led to his art being displayed in the Houston City Hall and a trip to Washington, D.C. His creativity in art landed him with high recognition in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. He loved to sing and play his guitar. He loved to be with his family and play with his daughters.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Anselmo D. Morales; uncles, Mario A. Morales and Luis A. Velez; grandmother, Susana Morales. Left to cherish his loving memory, spouse Heidi Zachmann-Garza; parents Pedro and Martha Velez; daughters: Cheyenne and Elizana; sister Kristina “Nana”; brothers James “Jody”, Pedro “Papi”; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 2pm in Brookside Funeral Home Grand Chapel, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
