Juan Montes Flores

Juan Montes Flores, 85, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away March 18, 2016. He was born May 28, 1930 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Aniceto and Teresa Flores. Juan was in the United States Army for many years. Juan’s hobbies were wrestling, boxing, playing pool, dancing, listening to Country Westerns and Tejano music, barbecuing and grilling. His favorite artists were Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, and Freddy Fender. He is survived by his wife Teodora Garcia Flores of 65 loving years.

Sisters: Aurora De Los Santos and Josephina Ochoa, Elijia Hernandez.

Sons: Juan Flores and wife Elsa, Albert Flores and wife Corraine, Jerrold Flores and partner Arnold De Los Santos, Ronald Flores, Daniel Flores and wife Janie, Larry Flores and wife Irene, Eric Flores and wife Felicia, daughters; Dora Ann Parra and husband Joe, Brenda Lisa Contreras and husband Juan.

Grandchildren: Chastidy, Michelle and husband Steven, Ganessa and husband Tony, Christy and husband Travis, Aaron and wife Cassi, Marcus and wife Erica, Larry Jr. and wife Jessica, Daniel Jr., Hillary and husband Cameron, Robert and wife Madeleine, Erika and fiancé Chase, Christina and fiancé Christopher, Matthew and wife Briana, Ashley and husband Demetrio, Alexis, Valerie, Stephanie, Jessica, Victoria and husband John Paul, Janelle, Robin, William.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77038. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 11:00am with interment to follow at the Houston National Cemetery.
