Juan Favela Flores, age 91, passed away peacefully at his home in Houston, Texas on September 16, 2021. He was born in Del Rio, TX, August 29, 1930, the son of Antonio and Eulojia F. Flores. He spent his childhood growing up in Sonora, Texas with his 9 siblings. Juan moved to Houston, Texas where he met the love of his life, Priscilla Ann Herrera, they were married on September 5, 1954 at Holy Name Catholic Church. He later retired from Cameron Iron Works. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and was an avid golfer spending most of his retirement days as a Golf Starter at Sharpstown Golf Course.
Juan is proceeded in death by his wife Priscilla Ann Flores (June 22, 1975), his brothers Ramon, David, and sister Gloria. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Priscilla (Jeannie) Flores, Susan G. Tice (John), Deborah C. Flores, John A. Flores (Marcia), Laura N. Wells (James), and one granddaughter Priscilla Ann Rodriguez. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Reuben, Manuel, Mario, Lupe, Maria Carlomango, Yolanda Ramirez, and numerous nieces and nephews.
