I had an opportunity taking care of Mr. Juan Cerda while he was undergoing his treatment in St. Luke’s.  He was one of our gentle and kindest patient. He demonstrated faith, courage and strength, even though he’s in pain or having a bad day. His determination to fight and the way he faced each day with grace and hope was truly inspiring. The highlight of his day to day was waiting for Ms. Annette and his family to come and visit. 
 May his memory continue to shine brightly, reminding us all of his love and courage.

Mr. Juan Cerda was one of the best patients we ever had on 20 Tower. He received all of his chemotherapy treatments here, and was loved by every single nurse and other staff members. I teared up when I heard him passing away, I still remember how emotional he got when rang the bell after finishing all his treatments and reading the End of Treatment note. Mr. Cerda, you'll always be remembered and loved. The staff of 20 Tower sends love towards you and strength to your family.
