Juan A. Avalos, 52 years of age passed away March 22, 2023. Juan was born April 14, 1970 to Aurelio Avalos and Maria Olivia Reyes in Houston, Texas. Juan attended Waltrip High School and also attended HCC for business and real estate. He was a man of many trades. He could sell anything or at least he believed he could. Juan worked as a legal assistant. He scanned and prepared trail documents and delivered them to different law firms. Juan loved to barbeque and loved cooking. He was the Grill Master. He enjoyed going to Monster Jam, watching wrestling, loved going fishing and listening to music. He loved to build project trucks and spent most of his life participating in car shows with his brother-in-law Marco Chavez. He was known as "Chevy Johnny", the king of the burn out competition. His dream was to one day go to a NASCAR race in Daytona. Juan was the life of the party, always made a grand entrance and always had a smile on his face.
Juan is preceded in death by his mother Maria Olivia Reyes, his father Aurelio Avalos, sister Sylvia Avalos Vazquez, cousins Elsa Silva Reyna, Ninfa Hernandez and Mary Silva.
Juan is survived by his children Johnny Avalos and Ashley Avalos and daughter-in-law Bianca Ramirez. Siblings Sarah Avalos Hernandez and brother-in-law Guadalupe Hernandez, Maria Guadalupe Cerda and brother-in-law Jason Valdez and brother-in-law David Velazquez. Half siblings Rosa Maria Avalos, Servando Avalos, Juan Aurelio Avalos Rico, Laura Avalos, Rocio Avalos and Carolina Avalos.
