Mrs. Eagle was born in Norristown, PA and spent her early years in North Wales, PA. She attended University of Delaware graduating in 1956 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She met John Randall Eagle, her husband of 59 wonderful years, during their senior year together University of Delaware, and they married in 1956. Mrs. Eagle spent many years in the teaching profession primarily working with children with learning differences.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Suzanne McCann and husband, Kevin of New Orleans, LA, and daughter Marissa; and Kimberly Ragan and husband Jerry of Marietta, GA, and daughter, Katie of Austin. Mrs. Eagle has two sisters, Elizabeth Jentsch of Washington, D.C.; and Nancy Astler of Lower Gwynedd, PA; and brother, Isaac Blair, of Kitnersville, PA.
Mrs. Eagle was a loving mother and wife and a dedicated teacher who enjoyed travel and sports of all kinds. She will be sorely missed by all of her family and friends.
Friends are cordially invited to gather with the family and share remembrances of Mrs. Eagle during a visitation to be held from five o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening on Saturday, the 17th of October, in the grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
