Joyce L. Campbell

1931 – 2016

Joyce Campbell, 84 years old, of Tomball, Texas, went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & friend.

Joyce was born in Baytown, Texas, on February 8, 1931, to Hubert and Sadie Coleman. She married R.E. (Gene) Campbell October 12, 1950. Joyce was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, The Daughters of the Republic of Texas #13710 and The Siege of Bexar #13.

Joyce and Gene were blessed with 3 daughters - Sharon Golden, Gail Benningfield – husband Ed, and Lanette Currie – husband Bob; 7 Grandchildren – Amy Inthavong and Kristin Garner, Keith and Glen Benningfield, and Jeremy, Jeffrey and Justin Hoot; 16 Great Grandchildren – Elisabeth and Krista Hoot, Anna and Dean Inthavong, Madalyn, Kinley, and Jackson Hoot, Ava and Brock Benningfield, Eli Benningfield, Sadie and Bryce Hoot, Leah and Jace Garner, Faith Blaylock, Emma Bridges and a host of friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Sharon.

The Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 at Brookside Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday January 26, 2016 at Brookside Funeral Home.
