Joy Dean Webb

Joy graduated from Sam Houston High School. She met Robert in Houston, Texas and they married on February 1, 1964.

Some of her passions included gardening and spending quality time with her family. Joy had a love for animals. She cherished every moment spent with Robert at their farm in Montgomery. They were often seen sitting on their porch watching their cows grazing, fish jumping in the pond, and eating vegetables they had grown. Before retirement, Joy was a co-owner at Webb & Webb Specialties for 50 years.

Joy is preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Webb; mother and father Hazel and Wesley Hayslip, brother and sister in law Burton and Mary Hayslip.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynna Wischnewsky and husband Donald; two grandchildren, Nancy Tomczak and husband David; Justin Wischnewsky and wife Samantha; five great-grandchildren, Hadlee, Jake, Luke Tomczak, Charlee June and Hutch Wischnewsky; as well as many other treasured family and friends. Rest in peace our sweet Joy.

The family will receive guests for a visitation on Saturday, June 11, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm.
