One of the best coworkers I could have ever had, always smiling and joking, working with Josh was always a good day, a great human being who never discriminated against me for being Hispanic, on the contrary, he made me feel like family, his sense of humor and those good times I will always carry in my heart, we will surely see each other again friend, now enjoy the presence of God, until then Josh.

Funniest guy in my academy class…Josh, you kept us all laughing through the thought times…gonna miss you, buddy 🙏🏻

I worked with Josh at UTPolice. Josh had a great sense of humor. Prayers of comfort for all his family and friends.

Josh will be remembered for his kindness to our family. He was so much a brother to us the short time we had together. Josh had gifted us a garden seed pack when we moved. I'm thankful knowing these seeds continue to produce a crop and more seeds year after year.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Josh at UTPD for several years. Josh was one of the most unique people I had ever met. I loved speaking to him because of the way he saw the world was so different. I would often seek his advice to get a different perspective on problems. I was devastated to hear of his passing. I pray for his family’s healing.

I was one of Joshua's Field Training Officers at UTPD. I enjoyed training him. He made me laugh and kept me entertained with his life stories. I am an only child and he would tell me all about his siblings and stories about being homeschooled. I remember he was very proud of his mother. I will keep you all in my prayers.  My deepest condolences.

My sincerest condolences to Aunt Sandra, Uncle Toby and Josh’s siblings (my cousins). I was saddened when I heard the news of your passing, Josh. You were so young. I  have many fond memories of us playing and having chats with during our Houston visits. I regret not knowing you more as an adult, although we did connect through social media a few times.  You were a rare sweet soul. May you rest in peace, Josh. You will remain forever in my heart. “I never forgot you-ever!”
