My thoughts and prayers go out to you Sister Charline and the Schlebach  family. I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Schlebach was one of the first parishioners to welcome me to the parish.  She often brought sweets from her oven, and potted Easter lilies in preparation for the Easter Vigil.  We know she spent her life for her family and her arrival in Heaven.   God bless you all.

Sorry for your loss, Sister Charline. My prayers are with you and your family.

I am so happy that I got to know Mrs. Schlebach. Her strength of faith, determination and perseverance was inspiring. She was very dedicated to her family. This spring, she baked four pans of cinnamon rolls for extended family gatherings, made skirts for great granddaughters, finished a quilt, and hoed her flowerbeds. I had the privelege of watching her artistry in the kitchen, sewing room, and garden. She worked hard all her life and had wonderful stories to tell of the past. She was a member of the amazing generation. What a celebration is happening in heaven since she arrived! She told me she'd be waiting or us there.

My family were neighbors when I was much younger.  I remember the smell of fresh baked kolaches coming from her kitchen while walking to school at St. Theresa's. I can honestly say I have never met a better kolache since!! She was quite the cook! 
She was a very kind & gracious woman with a deep faith. I know that you will all miss her.
May God's grace carry you through the days ahead.

Our thoughts and prayers to all of you. "Granny" Schlebach babysat Sallie for many years and gave her love as if her own.  She taught Sallie to love flowers and gardening.  May she rest in peace and we know that she is God's little angel tending to all the flowers in heaven.

So very sorry for your family's loss.  Aunt Josie was such a sweet spirit always with a smile on her face and love in her heart.  I know she will be sorely missed by all the family.  I pray for your peace and comfort during this difficult time.

My memories of Mrs. Schlebach go way back when Sophie was my friend at St Theresa Catholic School.  During my last year there, I stayed with them til my mother could pick me up after work.  On some days, Sophie and I would walk home for lunch and Mrs. Schlebach would have a sandwich for us.... She was always working hard... I believe she was responsible for sewing some of the dresses of important events in my life like my sisters wedding and my 8th grade graduation dress!  She did love her garden and their corner yard was always filled with beautiful flowers.  I especially remember her with her chapel veil on ...walking briskly down the sidewalk to St. Theresa for morning mass.  She was a beautiful Catholic and loving lady to me, and I will always remember my days at St. Theresa and of Mrs. Schlebach with much fondness.   God bless her and her family.

Although I never meet Josephine, I know her though her daughter Sister Charline.   My heart goes out to all of you at this difficult time, but we know that Jesus welcomed Josephine home with our Mother beside Him saying, "Welcome Home, good and faithful servant."
