She was born to the late Rosalie and Joseph Musachia on March 10, 1926 in Houston, Texas.
Josephine loved the time she spent working in various organizations such as the Ladies of Sacred Heart and she was a founding member of the Italian Federation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Johnny Musachia; her son, VJ Leggio and his wife Debbie. Josephine leaves behind her son, Michael Leggio and his wife Margie; her daughter Linda Leggio; and her daughter, Kathy Brook and her husband Victor. She was also blessed with 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from two until five o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the 1st of March, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where a recitation of the Holy Rosary is to commence at half-past four o’clock in the afternoon.
A Mass of Christian Burial is to be offered at ten o’clock in the morning on Monday, the 2nd of March, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road in Houston, where the Rev. William Oliver, Parochial Vicar, is to serve as celebrant.
The Rite of Committal is to immediately follow, via an escorted cortège, at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
