Josephine Banda, 71, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 4, 2016. She was born September 19, 1945 in Muldoon, Texas to Jose and Romana Hernandez. Her favorite pass time was sewing, gardening and scrapbooking. She is now with her Lord and Savior in whom she served faithfully throughout her life and reunited with beloved family that went before her, especially our father, Reynaldo Banda Sr., her love of 47 years. Josephine loved her family. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Daniel and his wife, Mary Jane Banda, Reynaldo Jr and his wife, Helen Banda, Racheal and her husband, Esteban Lucio, four grandchildren: Reynaldo III and his wife,Joyce, Ashley and her husband, Jerry, Stevi, and Tyana, two great-grandchildren: Lucy and Eli. Her four sisters that she loved dearly, Flora, Tencha, Ramona, and Chelo and a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial contributions to be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500, Chicago, IL 60611.
