Joe is survived by his children Jonathan (Aimee) Rodriguez, Phillip Rodriguez, Jacquelyn Rodriguez, Monica Rodriguez, former wife Gloria Rodriguez, brothers Jesse Rodriguez and Robert (Diane) Rodriguez, sisters Rose Mary (Randy) Schulze, Mary Ann (Neil) Brown, Cecilia (Tom) Sandoval, grandchildren Aaron Rodriguez, Grace Rodriguez and Katherine Rodriguez, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents Rose and Joseph Rodriguez and sister Theresa Gonzales.

Joe was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. Joe could always be found cheering on his beloved Houston sports teams with family and friends. He enjoyed all types of music and movies, with a true love of Hallmark Christmas specials! Joe truly loved celebrating life with his family and friends and was always up for great conversation and story telling over a glass of wine or cold beer. His easy smile and kind heart will be missed by many.

A memorial service for Joe will be held at Pat H. Foley and Company, 1200 W. 34th Street, on Friday, October 13th at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Joe’s name to the charity of your choosing.
