Joseph Martin Curran

Joseph Martin Curran, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather was born June 9, 1932 in Pennsylvania to Mary and Patrick Curran, and was one of 8 children. He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia, sons-in-law Scott Sander and Kevin Burns. He is survived by his children Theresa Sander, Marian & husband Jay Henderson, Danny & wife Necie Curran, Julie Burns, and Sean Curran; grandchildren Lauren Sander and husband Adrian Rangel, Kinsey Sander, Jared Henderson & wife Kristen, Meredith Schneider & husband Jonathan, Bryan & Caora Burns; great grandchildren Judson Schneider, Anya Rangel, Jack & Charlotte Henderson. Joseph was very proud of his Scottish-Irish heritage, having grandparents from both Scotland and Ireland. He was always proud of his service in the Army while serving in Korea.

A visitation for Joseph will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1111 S Cherry Street, Tomball, TX 77375. A committal service will occur Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A reception will occur Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
