Joseph Lindle Barkley

Joseph Lindle Barkley of Houston, Texas passed away on the 3rd. of March, 2012. Lindle graduated from Sam Houston University, and was a 1Lt. Army in WWII where he received a silver star and purple heart. Lindle was a kind man with a passion for life and a great sense of humor. Lindle is preceded in death by his wife Melba Barkley whom he loved dearly. Lindle is survived by his daughters Judy Brinkhurst and Barbi Barkley, his grandchildren Joseph Heering, Jamie Stewart and Tracy Procel. Also survived by his great grandchildren Avery Heering, and Gavin LaBorde. Lindle’s family would like for you to join them at his service celebrating his life on Wednesday, the 7th of March, in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 12:30 P.M. Concluding services Lindle will be laid to rest in Memorial Oaks Cemetery beside his dear Melba.
