MAY 18, 1949- JULY 15, 2018
On Sunday, July 15, 2018 Josefina G. De Leon wife of Rafael De Leon passed away peacefully around her family and friends.
Josefina was born May 18, 1949 to Antonio and Anita Guerra of Missouri City, Texas. Josefina will be forever remembered by her husband of 52 years, Rafael De Leon and her lovely daughters, Jo Ann De Leon (Alfonso), Janet De Leon (Chris), Jennifer Camario, Sandra Ferrel (Tony); along with her thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She also leaves behind her sisters and brothers: Hortenia Trevino (+), Jimmy Guerra, Frank Guerra, Janie Ramirez (Edward), Eliseo Guerra (+), Gabriel Guerra (+), Carmen Garcia, Mike Guerra (Lydia), Manuel Guerra (+), Antonio Guerra (Minnie), Joe Angel Guerra (Pat), and Gloria Gomez (James).
The family would like to send a special thank you to Minnie Guerra (Sister-in-Law) for being there for support. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Escalona for being such a great spiritual friend. She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Josefina enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren and sitting outside with her husband listening to music and playing with her puppy Browning.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Mark Evangelist Catholic Church, 5430 W. Ridgecreek Dr, Houston, Texas 77053. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, Texas 77077.
