In the morning of December 24, 2015 Jose R. Perez passed away at the Veterans Hospital in Houston, Texas of natural causes. At the time of his passing he was 96 years old. Jose R. Perez was born in Houston, Texas on August 27 1919. He served in the U.S. Army, and married Norberta Diaz, they had seven children. Mr. Perez worked for the City of Houston for many years and retired from there. After retirement he enjoyed surrounding himself with his family and grandchildren. He leaves behind his wife Norberta D. Perez of 63 years of marriage and sons and daughters; Robert, Jose, Martin, David, Sandra, Lucy, and Paul L. Perez(Deceased), and seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Jose R. Perez will greatly be missed. Visitation for Jose R. Perez will be held on December 29, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm, with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral service will follow on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10am at the Chapel of Angels in Forest Park Lawndale, interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale.
