Jose Gilberto Menchaca, 67, of Houston went to be with his Lord Sunday, April 25, 2010. He was born March 31, 1943 in Candela, Mexico to Eliseo and Augustina Menchaca. Jose is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Juanita Menchaca; children, Jose Menchaca Jr. and wife Leticia, Eliseo Menchaca and wife Blanca, Raul Menchaca and wife Maricela, Daniel Menchaca, Alejandro Menchaca and wife Hermelinda, Alicia Menchaca, Armando Menchaca and wife Yara, Luis Menchaca and wife Laurie, San Juana Menchaca; 4 brothers 2 sisters; 22 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be 10:00 am Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
