It's with great sadness that the family of Jose Cruz Leal announces his passing on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the age of 90 years old. Jose was born on May 3, 1927, in Brownsville Texas. Jose passed away surrounded by his loving daughters. Jose is preceded in death by his loving wife Guillermina V. Leal for 62 years together, one son, his Father Juan Leal, mother Refugia Cruz Leal, and four brothers. He is survived by his sister Ezquia Leal. Jose will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Oralia Lakhani, Lucy Rahman, Rose Leal, Irma Garza, Rebecca Leal, and Lisa Socarras, Daughter in Law Elena Phipps, son in laws Raul Garza, and Michael A. Socarras, Jose will be remembered by his ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter in law Taylor Lakhani, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jose Cruz Leal will always be loved and remembered by his family.
