Jose Maurilio left his beloved country at a young age to begin a journey that would eventually lead to an unmatched legacy built on hard work and dedication. His family was his driving force, and his unwavering faith in God provided the foundation for his success. Alongside his wife, he built his company over 40 years with integrity, respect, and tenacity, earning the admiration and respect of friends, family, and community leaders. Jose Maurilio's presence left an imprint on everyone who cared for him; he will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 59 years of marriage, Yolanda Gonzalez Garcia; children: son, Jose Maurilio Garcia Jr. and wife Azucena Garcia, son Mario Alberto Garcia and wife Irma Delia Garcia, son Reymundo Garcia and wife Celeste Aida Garcia, son Rodolfo Garcia and wife Norma Angelica Garcia, son Jaime Garcia and wife Maricruz Garcia, son Oscar Garcia and wife Flor Garcia, daughter Hilda Garcia and partner Alejandro Rodriguez, son Eduardo Garcia and wife Astrid Alejandra Garcia; grandchildren, Maurilio Garcia and partner Savannah Margo Million, Melina Azucena Garcia, Vanessa Moreno and husband Arnoldo Moreno, Melissa Borjas and husband Christian Borjas, Mario Alberto Garcia, Jr., Reymundo Garcia Jr. and wife Marycruz Garcia, Evelardo Antonio Garcia and partner Jocelyne Lisseth Aviles, Bianca Isabel Garcia, Angelica Soledad Brown and Husband Hunter Brown, Rodolfo Garcia Jr, Nicolas Marcos Garcia, Silvana Garcia, Jaime Garcia, Kassandra Elena Garcia, Leyla Garcia, Camila Garcia, Sofia Garcia, Victor Manuel Murillo III, Jazelle Yvanna Murillo, Eduardo Ethan Garcia, Kayla Arianna Garcia, and Luciana Alejandra Manzanera; great-grandchildren; Christian Jordan Borjas, Elliana Delia Borjas, Reymundo Garcia III, Alejandro Garcia, Evelardo Antonio Garcia Jr, Andres Elias Garcia, and Victoria Mia Garcia; siblings: Maximo Garcia Chapa and Amelia Garcia Chapa; along with other numerous family and friends.

He is reunited with his parents, Marcos Garcia Rodriguez and Maria Chapa DeLeon; siblings, Zenaida Garcia Chapa, Herminia Garcia Villarreal, Elva Garcia Villarreal, Guadalupe Garcia Villarreal, Alicia Garcia Villarreal, and Marcos Garcia Villarreal.
