Edward John (Johnny) Fedigan III passed away on January 6, 2022. He is the devoted husband of 39 years of Constance Haginas Fedigan. Johnny is the son of the late Velma Ruth Stevens and Dr. Shalom Vineberg. He is the loving father of Christopher Ancillotti, Natalie Armantrout and beloved brother to Paul Fedigan and Beth Fedigan Johnny is also the proud uncle of John Paul, Chelsea, Brett and Drew. He is survived by cousins in Texas, Alabama, Maryland, and Florida. He is also survived by his devoted puppies, Koukla and Ollie.
Johnny, even though he was born in Pittsburgh, was a proud Texan. He is a graduate of Westbury High School. He loved everything about where he lived, especially the outdoors. He loved spending time with friends, fishing, boating, and being part of the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Calf Scramble. He loved being with the young participants, and always began with prayer. Johnny worked for 42 years with Don McGill Toyota of Katy, Texas. Johnny served in the United States Army in 1966-1968.
Church was important in his life. He was confirmed in the Orthodox Church and was an active member of Saint Basil Greek Orthodox Church in West Houston.
Family will be received on Monday, January 17, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home (13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX). A trisagion (prayer) will be offered at 7:00 PM.
The Funeral will be prayed at Saint Basil Greek Orthodox Church (1100 Eldridge Parkway, Houston) beginning at 10:00 AM, presided by his cousin, Father Constantine Moralis of Baltimore, Maryland, and his priest, Father Luke Palumbis, pastor of Saint Basil. The internment will follow at the Houston National Cemetery.
Following interment, all guests are graciously invited to attend a catered reception at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home (13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX).
