Sargent First Class John Ray White, age 74, of Porter, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. John was born December 26, 1946.
John R White served on the USS Hanson in Vietnam, after discharge he worked for Reynolds Metals for 23 years. After retirement he worked security at Kingwood Medical Center for 8 years.
He joined the Texas State Guard and rose to rank of Sargent First Class John White. He was in the Texas State Guard for 10 years.
He leaves behind his wife Beverly; daughters Charity White, Jennifer Mainus, and Jennifer Haptonstall.
Also he had 6 grandchildren James Haptonstall, Oscar Ray Hinojosa and John Nicholas White-Martinez.
Also granddaughter Aaron Aslanson-White, Austin Mainus and Donovan Mainus.
