John Leon Reynolds, 78, of Spring, Texas transitioned from this life into his eternal life on December 15, 2023, at his home in Spring, Texas. John was born in Crockett, Texas on August 6, 1945, to Joseph Hilliard (Bunk) Reynolds and Syble Brewton Reynolds.
John is preceded in death by his parents, father, Joseph (Bunk) Reynolds, mother, Syble Reynolds, siblings Jackie Reynolds, Billie Reynolds, and Connie Wiggins.
John is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lynn Reynolds, of Spring, Texas, his son, William (Trey) Strickland and his wife, Brandy of Spring, Texas, grandchildren, Shane and Rylyn McCracken, of Kingwood, Texas and Sarah and Cody Holmes of Abilene, Texas, sister-in-law, Pam Reynolds of Trinity, Texas, several ‘Favorite’ nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
John graduated from Pasadena High School. After high school, John proudly served his country as a mortarman in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. While working at AT&T he met Lynn who would become his wife on July 30, 1994. During his 32-year career at AT&T, John worked in several positions at AT&T. Following his retirement from AT&T, John went onto become a supervisor for the Transportation Security Administration at George Bush Airport.
John had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and could often be seen wearing clothing with the famous brand. John was a member of the Humble Masonic Lodge for many years. He was an active member of Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church in Porter Texas where he was dearly loved by his church family.
