John Joseph Petrovich Jr.

John served in the Navy in his early years. He later became a master plumber until his retirement in 2001.

John was married to Carmen from May 23, 1962 – September 23, 1992 until she was called to be with the Lord. Years later John found love once again and married Ramona on April 15, 1999.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Petrovich; and his first wife, Carmen Elizardo Petrovich.

John is survived by his wife, Ramona Petrovich; daughter, Linda Harding (Rick); son, John Petrovich III; step children, Sherri Slomchinski, Keith Vaden, Vernon Vaden, Steven Vaden; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as great and great great nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Jesse Gunnels, Nathaniel Petrovich, Joshua Petrovich, Seth Petrovich, Shawn Petrovich, Steve Petrovich, Jack Petrovich and Michelle Gunnels.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Joe Petrovich and Keith Vaden.

A special thank you to the Veteran Affairs Hospital for the years of great care and to Memorial Hermann Northeast ICU team. They were so caring and gentle, and very compassionate in John’s last days of life.
