I owe a lot to John. When me and Shawn needed something he tried to make sure we had it being food or just so much as a hi how ya doin. He was a really great man and he made a lot of people laugh and smile. So here's to you John wherever you may be. We love and miss you.

My daddy believed that two wrongs don’t make a right.  He believed you should always forgive your sister even if you can’t stand her.  He taught me to be strong and brave.  No matter what, Packer’s NEVER give up. Can’t NEVER did anything. We can do anything that we put our minds to.  He would do the work for free because it was the right thing to do. Money isn’t everything. He always wanted to do the right thing.  Every time that I did the right thing he would tell me how proud he was of me.  He was proud of all us girls.  He supported us and tried to steer us in the right direction even if we fought kicking and screaming the whole way.  What am I going to do without my daddy?  What am I gonna do?  I am going tell you what I am gonna do because I’m as lucky as can be, for the world’s BEST Daddy belongs to me.  I am going to teach my children that two wrongs don’t make a right, to always forgive your sister because she is not always going to be here with you.  I am going to be brave and strong because Packer’s NEVER give up.  I will work for free if it is the right thing to do.  I will always, ALWAYS believe in doing the right thing.  I will ALWAYS be proud of that he was my Daddy.

You will be greatly missed. Forever in our hearts.

Rejoicing the life of John Robert Packer, Johnny Bob.  Daddy is our knight in shining armor.  He was so many things to people: a friend, father, son, a hero.  All us girls ever wanted was to be just like him.  We wanted to make him proud.  He had the biggest heart, amazing smile.  And when he would laugh it would be so hard he would cry.  When daddy gave us a huge, we knew everything was going to be okay.  If we needed someone to talk to, he would always listen, give a shoulder to cry on.  He was our problem solver.  When we would make a wrong decision, he was there to pick us up off the ground.  He had to many times.  This is a man who was a wonderful father.  Then he became wonderful grandfather.  His grandbabies, Hailine and Sadie, are the shining star's in his eyes.  He loved all his children; blood or not.  Teri, Christopher, Shawn, Melanie, Chrissy and Danny.  But the most important person in his life was his wife Melinda.

Children Of Joy! Preschool want to express our deepest sympathies.  We will have the family in our prayers.
