Our thought and prayers are with the whole family.

I have many fond memories growing up in Houston with John. He was like another big brother, but one that was fun to be with. The family get together at the lake, the bay, the times he would take us fishing are all cherished. 

None of us know when the Lord calls us to Him and it is always hard for those left behind. But just knowing our loved ones, that have gone before us, are there to greet him and knowing God’s arms are wrapped around all of us, gives comfort. 

He will be deeply missed,

Dear Barbara, Jason, Brad 

I am so sorry for your loss and shocked to hear of John's passing. I have many fond memories of my Cousin. He will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. John will always live in our hearts and I hope our prayers will help to mend your saddened hearts.

We are so sad to hear of your loss.  We will miss seeing "Po Po" at his grandchildrens' sporting events and school functions and giving out the candy and treats at the annual Halloween party.  May God bless you with peace and comfort during this difficult time.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your sweet family.  Your family is such a wonderful legacy Mr. Ostrom leaves behind.

On behalf of the employees at Dow Seadrift (Insulation and Paint) John, you will truly be missed. We turned to you for guidance and you were there at any given moment. With your support we were able to continue to improve and succeed. Our sincere condolences to the Ostrom family.

I had the pleasure of working with John for many years at ISI and Brand. John was a very special friend and co-worker that will always have a special place in the hearts of everyone that had the honor of working with him.

Dear Ostrom Family, As you know, John and I worked together in college.  We called him "Big John" for good reason, but most importantly because he had a big heart.  He was a good man and I am so sorry that you have lost him.

Peggy and I went to St. Christopher's School with you and John many years ago. Please know that you, John and the Ostrom family are in our thoughts and prayers.  Take strength in knowing that John is in a better place with his Heavenly Father.  May he rest in the Peace of Christ forever.

John was a loving nephew and like a son to me, even before I started a family of my own.  I have so many fond memories that will always be cherished.  Always know that my prayers are with you. My most heartfelt sympathy.

I had the pleasure of working with John @ Brand Energy & Infrastructure Svcs. He became my boss 3.5 years ago, he was a fine man, father and husband and will be missed by all that knew him. Rest in peace my friend.
