John Walter Keith, Born in Houston, Texas on February 24, 1943, to Walter T. Keith Jr. and Marjorie Maxine Lowery. Affectionately known as Johnny, he is survived by his elder brother, David Keith Sr., three younger sisters, Patricia Lowery Segura, Judith Elaine Moon and Cynthia Lourice Hood, three daughters, Danalynn Marilyn McGrath, Kimberly John Keith & Johnnie (JoJo) Kandace Keith, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, nine nieces and nephews, nine great nieces and nephews and many others. Johnny was in the Navy and loved his time in San Diego. After the Navy he spent many years in Houston where he was an unusually innovative salesman. He pioneered a successful furniture business model in the early 60’s, later training other family members, which led to financial success by many. About 1980 he married his third wife and eventually moved to Mississippi. He loved to spend time with his family and was a humble man who valued hard work, exercise, and the value of a dollar. He spent his final months in Dallas, cared for by his closest nephew, David Jr. He will be missed as an uncle and remembered as an inspiration to the family. Following an 11 month battle with pancreatic cancer he peacefully went to be with his Lord on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at only 70 years of age. Visitation will be held 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Graveside Service to follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
