John Hanley III

John Hanley III, 78, departed this earth to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ on April 6, 2010. He graduated with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in May, 1955. He was a retired Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve and served as Councilman for the City of Jersey Village, Texas. He was owner and President of Wealth Design, Inc. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janet Carol Hanley: sons, John Steven Hanley, MD and his wife Julia, and Brett Alan Hanley, DC; daughters, Carol Hanley Garcia and husband Jonas Garcia, MD, and Karen Hanley Harrivel and husband George Harrivel; eleven grandchildren, Blake Alan, Eric and John Michael Hanley, Magdalen, Jonas and Benjamin Garcia, Derek Hanley, George, Grace, Janet and Kyle Harrivel and a great-grandson. He is also survived by two brothers, Bill Hanley and wife Exene, Tom Hanley and wife Elizabeth, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 17 at 2pm. at Forest Park Lawndale’s Chapel of Angels with interment immediately following the services.
