John Richard Feltham

John was a larger-than-life, a loving, kind, and sometimes crazy individual with an amazing sense of humor making friends and acquaintances wherever he went.

John, born and raised in Phoenix, and directly after graduating High School went directly into the Airforce, serving in Vietnam. After John returned to the US, John received his degree from the University of Arizona.

Johns first business endeavor was an ambitiously large paper route in Phoenix at the age of 11. After college, John learned much about the business world from a number of positions at Stewart Title in Houston.

John met Cynthia Bowman, the love of his life in and through business acquaintances. John and Cynthia were married on February 1st, 1982 and were married 33 years until Cynthia’s passing on September 25, 2015.

John later founded Zebec Data Systems, where John enjoyed many success in the business world, utilizing the crown jewel of the company, which was one of Texas’s first “Super Computer’s” Zebec had with contracts with The Pentagon, the State Department, NASA, FBI, large Health Insurance carriers. The successes ranged from large data storage “Pre-Cloud,” Data Analytics, and Super Computing Powers for large problem solving calculations needs and simulations.

Upon the successful sell and exit from Zebec Data Systems, John has spent the last seven years working for the FBI, as a forensic accountant investigating white collar crimes, Medicare/Medicaid Fraud and donating his salary directly to charity. John was an FBI first responder in the Houston Metro area.

When early in John and Cynthia’s marriage they discovered they were unable to have children of their own, they decided to contribute both individually, corporately during their lifetimes to the following charities:

A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079. A committal service will occur Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.
