John Chilton Cole, age 79, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, he was retired from the United States Army. He was an avid Houston Sports fan who was a very personable, loving, family man who always had a positive attitude. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Eleanor Cole. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Edith Cole; son, Norman Hillin; brother, Charles Cole and wife Jane; and other loving relatives and a host of friends. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, the Celebration of Life Funeral Service will then be at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
