He graduated from Humble High School and then married Dessie Marsh; he had two childred with Dessie, Christy and Joe Jr.
He worked for the Petro Tex Chemical Company for 20 years. Hoe was an avid gardener, he loved to grow vegetables and he also enjoyed traveling.
Joe transitioned from this life on March 22, 2017 in Houston, TX.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents IV Bailey and Albert Robertson, his sister Vera Robertson and his son, Joe Robertson Jr.
He is survived by his daughter Christy Faulkner and George of New Caney, TX and his sister, Nina Bell. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Phillip Wilkinson and wife Christy of Splendora, TX, Brandy Wilkinson and husband Shawn of Splendora, TX, Michael Faulkner and fiance Meredith of New Caney, TX and Katy Robertson of Billings, Montana; great-grandchildren, Logan, Dustin, Tyler and Jordan; as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
