Joe M. Guerra, 79, peacefully left us for eternal rest on June 27, 2012 in Houston, TX, surrounded by his loved ones at home. Born in Rosebud, TX on April 26, 1933. Joe was preceded in death by his son Johnny Guerra, brother Cristino Guerra sisters Josephina Castro, and Amelia Sauceda. Joe is survived in life by his wife of 57 years, Rose M. Guerra; children; Anna, Cathy, Joe, Elizabeth, Susie, Linda, Maria, Debra, and Gloria; and 25 adoring grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He loved baseball and the outdoors. Above all, he was a loving and caring husband, father and above all grandfather. He was a man of few words; but his action spoke louder than words ever could. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 4-9pm with a 7pm Rosary. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 11am at Forest Park Lawndale.
