He was born on October 10, 1935 in Wharton, Texas to Librado and Rosa Castillo. He married Manuela Amador on December 02, 1956, where they then move to Houston, made a life and raised 5 children.
Joe was a delivery driver for HD Supply for 15 years before retiring in 2009, but he was really a man of all trades who knew how to do everything.
Joe was an active member of Resurrection Catholic Church, where he served as usher for many years.
After retirement he spent most of his time enjoying the company of his family and friends. He liked to travel when the opportunity presented itself. He loved maintaining his yard and helping others as much as possible.
Most importantly he was a great husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was always there for us when we needed him, willing to help in any way needed. We will always be thankful for the time God gave us with him, and because of the belief in God that he instilled in us by the way he lived his life and by what he taught us we know this is not goodbye, it is just "see you later" because we will see him again one day.
