He was preceded in death by his Mom Ysabel Silva Gonzales, his Sister Carlota Silva Vda. De Cano, his Wife Rufina Lara Alvarez & his Son Joe Florentino Alvarez, Jr. He leaves behind 4 children; Lily Bradley (Hershal), Ruben R. Alvarez, Sr., Noel Alba, Sr. (Minerva), Adam S. Alvarez, Sr. 17 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren & 4 Great Great-Grandchildren. He was a Faithful Christian & a member for 45 + years at Templo Jerusalem.
Services will be held at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023. Visitations will begin Monday August 17, 2020 from 5-9 P.M. with Evening Service starting at 7 P.M. Funeral Tuesday August 18, 2020 at 9 A.M. & Graveside Service to follow.
