You don’t know me, but I have felt your pain every day since this (completely preventable) tragedy occurred. Our leaders have failed, MISERABLY. Jocelyn was a beautiful young lady. Looking at her pictures broke my heart even more. I know our leaders have not so much as reached out to you, so it’s up to us to do just that. Let you know we are all behind you, especially during this difficult time. No child deserves this. None. I pray every day that the two monsters responsible for this get their karma. I also pray for God to wrap you in his loving arms when you need him the most. My deepest, most heartfelt condolences 💐 for Jocelyn and her family. Let’s all do our part to get the leaders who’ve failed us OUT, and get someone in there who will make America SAFER again.

I am so sorry for your loss. You don’t know me, and I didn’t know Jocelyn. I live a block away from you and I found out about this just a month ago. This story shook me to my core to the point where I have made arrangements to move from where I am because if I were to have seen that at night this little girl was being spoken to by 2 grown men, I would have interfered and it pains me to see that no one else in this neighborhood interfered. My deepest condolences for your family, this will never be lived off.

It is so hard to fathom such a sweet life to be taken. what is more heartbreaking is that the people who we trust and put in charge to protect us always fall short. They will never share or bare any responsibility for failing in their sworn oath that we hold dear and they just use the words for their own gains. My whole life I have had my heart hit by the evil that slimes around us and never to end. My love and heart felt sorrow goes out to Jocelyn's family. As Jocelyn is not on this earth anymore let not her everlasting light leave us blinded.

First of all, my deepest condolences for your loss. I think of your daughter and your family every day; her case breaks my heart. I am a girl in college who also lives in Houston, and a couple of days before Jocelyn's murder, I was walking home at 9 pm and was followed by a suspicious man in a car who tried to ask me for directions. I sensed bad intentions and ran off when I saw people coming the other way. When I saw Jocelyn's murder on the news a week later, it shook me to the core because I realized that could have been me. I hope that those monsters get what they deserve in prison and that there is reform in law and security so this never has to happen to anyone again. I hope that in time, your family heals and leads long, happy, healthy, and successful lives, and that when the time comes, you can reunite with her in heaven.

I remember when i first met jocelyn last year from my sister. she was my sisters first friend n they were  inseparable. if one of them weren’t in class the teacher would always ask the other were they were. since her grandma lived down the street from us jocelyn would always come over when she could. i also remember the first halloween we celebrated with her and she was rushing my mom n was telling my sister if they could go. but if i knew it was gonna be the last one i wouldve gave her all my candy and if I knew the our last phone call & playing roblox together i would’ve said i loved her for the last time. we miss you so much jocelyn. today we had our first sleepover without you n it just wasn’t the same. we were all sitting their talking about the good memories with you and funny ones too. like the day we took those pictures at recess. we miss you so much jocelyn and also lana came out with a new song right after you died n i wish I could’ve listened to it with you. anyways we will get justice for you babygirl. i love u to the moon n back forever and always. 🤍

Didnt know you but read about your death on the news on my phone. So sorry your last hours on earth was so tragic. I believe you are in a much better place where there is no heart break, pain,sadness! I also believe the 2 monsters will pay for there actions. If not in this life then the next. I believe that. I know for the family it’s probably a never ending nightmare. I remember at school I got put in a class where I knew nobody and since it was the end of the year I wasnt scared but I was very shy in there. She came up to me and we worked up a conversation. Ever since, we were friends. I can't believe I didnt meet her sooner bc of how nice she was, we both loved green, twilight, and ofc stranger things. I had the privilege of having Jocelyn in my second grade classroom. She was so vibrant, smart, and kind. I remember her being so eager to learn and I enjoyed teaching her that year. My condolences to her family especially her mother.

I did not know Jocelyn. But as a mother my deepest condolences go out to Jocelyn's mom and the entire family. Jocelyn has stolen the heart of the entire nation. I recently heard the story from my broken hearted daughter.  Since than I can't stop thinking of the sleeping beauty, my heart hurts for a beautiful angel I never met.
