I’m so sad to hear of Joanne’s passing.  I’ve been doing her hair for the past 13 years or so whenever she would visit Northfield. She was such a beautiful person besides being such a bright light and so funny!  I will miss her visits. She was the definition of a classy lady.

Dear Mike and family;
My heart was sad when I realized you mom was so ill.  You have been a most faithful son, bringing her much happiness , since the death of you dad.  My deepest sympathy to all of the family.  I regret we are unable to travel and attend her funeral.  Stay in touch!

It’s been a joy to know Jo ever since early elementary school. Our families both farmed about a mile apart on a gravel road. We rode the school bus  and sometimes played at each other‘s home. I loved going to the Kasa farm because her brother Gene  had a riding horse and there were pretty dogs  and always a lot of activity with their big family and work to be done. When Joanne’s family moved to Northfield we remained friends through junior high and high school 1956 graduation.  With college and marriage and young families we looked forward to gathering  everyone together for our all class reunions.  Since we both ended up in Texas we’ve enjoyed staying in touch and occasionally being able to meet together for a meal or a brief visit. What a gal; her sense of humor and enthusiasm,  her “style” and her friendship with so many. Thankful for her life and the good memories.  Lynne  Mulliner

I have lost a great friend through most of my lifetime from high school early on thru the last 15 or so years. 
Jo was  a great lady and friend. 
I will greatly miss conversations with her while she and I were watching the Rockets or 
T-wolves on TV  from our homes in TX and AZ,  talking the whole time on the phone during the games. 
My prayers and condolences to her family may she Rest In Peace.

Jo had a smile and hospitality for all who were honored to know her.. She was faithful to her faith , family and friends..She was strong , courageous and persevered on a difficult journey.. May you be comforted by treasured memories of a loving Wife , Mother, Grandmother, Aunt , and sister-in-law ..

We so enjoyed seeing her on her summer trips to Northfield.  I remember her as a lively cheerleader at NHS.  God's blessings to all of you.    Our sympathy to all.   Mary and Ray.

Joanne was a member of our "Saturday night after-mass dinner group." I always enjoyed my visits with her and all her stories. We will miss her. Becky Klare
