Jo Ann Marie Shannon, 75, of Houston, Texas passed away on August 02, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Lena Messana, brother Carl Messana, and her loving husband Douglas Shannon, Sr.. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons Douglas Eugene Shannon Jr. and his wife Teri, and Charles Vincent Shannon, grandchildren Charles Shannon, Jr., Brooke Shannon, Chloe Shannon, Cameron Matus, and one greatgrandchild Rooney Fitzpatrick. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 07, 2017 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 08, 2017 at 11:00 am with interment immediately following at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
