Joann Curry Ervin, born July 24, 1940 in Drew, Mississippi to Jeffie Wilson Curry and Eve Floyd Norwood Schott, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the age of 80. Preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Douglas Ervin; siblings, Floyd Curry, Helen Behenna and Dixie Dishman. Survived by sister, Paulette Embody; daughter, Roxanne Graham and her husband Lloyd; son, John Eakin; grandchildren, Joshua Campe and his wife Rebecca, Douglas Campe and his wife Taylor, and Alexis Eakin; great-grand daughter, Alice; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Curry, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to extend their deepest, heartfelt thanks to the people of Vitas Hospice, Devotion Hospice, and Aura Country Cottage for all the love, care and attention you gave in making Joann's last days as comfortable as possible.
