Joan Nolen

Joan Windsor Nolen 83, passed away on September 4, 2017 at the Broadmoor Creekside Park in the Woodlands, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Katie Pearl (Moss) Windsor and Henry H. Windsor.

Joan was born in Louisville, Kentucky October 18, 1933 and graduated from Phillips High School in Birmingham, Alabama. She retired from Southwest Airlines where she worked as a training instructor. She was very active in her community with the Sagemont Beverly Hills Little League and Sagemont Cowboys Youth Football Organization. Later in life she found her passion in acting with the Actors Workshop in Pasadena, Texas. Joan enjoyed taking cruises and visiting The Broadway Theater District in New York City.

She is survived by her children Glenn T. West, Robert R. Nolen and his wife Anne, William D. Nolen, and Michael W. Nolen and his wife Ann. Her beloved grandchildren are Rachel West, Nikki Nolen, Amy Nolen, David Nolen, Clayton Nolen, Carson Nolen, and Colton Nolen.

Funeral services will be held Monday September 11, 2017 at 10:30 am at Crossroads United Methodist Church 10030 Scarsdale Blvd, Houston, Texas 77089.

Internment will follow at Earthman Resthaven 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77060
