Jo Ann Reid was lifted into Heaven on April 9th, 2011, born to Ardis and Mamie Durham on December 17th, 1926. She led a glorious full life surrounded by family and friends in her native city of Houston. The light of many, Jo Ann was well known for assisting in church activities and volunteering at the local soup kitchen. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 38 years, William; brothers, Richard and Ardis. Jo Ann is survived by her son, William and his wife, Diane; daughter, Ardis; grandchildren, Carson, Austin, and Garrett; as well as many friends. All who knew Jo Ann are welcome to join the family for a visitation held on the 13th of April at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 14th at 12:30 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Apostles, 1225 W. Grand Pkwy. S. Katy, TX.
