Jimmy was a proud graduate of Hempstead High School. Go Bobcats! He truly enjoyed and looked forward to the class reunions.
Although the company name changed throughout the years, Jimmy spent his entire career as a Supervising Machinist working for the same company; Starting out with Cameron Iron Works and retiring from Wyman-Gordon.
After meeting the love of his life and his eternal partner, Jimmy & Loleen were married at Glenn Rose Baptist Church on August 26, 1967. They started their married life out on West Sunnyside attending church at Glenn Rose Baptist Church before settling in Cypress, attending Westway Baptist Church.
Together, they enjoyed many shared interests. They loved the outdoors, camping and fishing; took skiing trips. They enjoyed bowling. Many of these activities were enjoyed with their core group of dear friends dating back to 1967.
Although their union never produced children of their own, they were blessed by so many children of their friends and loved ones. Too many to count!
Jimmy spent their entire married life doting on Loleen, being her sole care giver for over 20 years. Jimmy was referred to by many as a “Saint” for his unwavering love and devotion to Loleen.
Jimmy never met a stranger and anyone who came in contact with him felt his touch and love. He was truly unforgettable. His love will live on in all the hearts he touched.
Jimmy died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 with Loleen nearby. He was surrounded closely by those who truly loved him.
