Jimmy Steve Elstner

Jimmy Elstner 1950-2017, 66, passed away on May 22, 2017. He was born to parents, Albert William Elstner and Ella Lee Elstner on September 15, 1950 in Amarillo, TX. He married Elizabeth Elstner on March 31, 2005 in Humble, TX. He was a longtime Houston area resident, a graduate of Sam Houston H.S., and proudly served in the United States Army from Oct 6, 1970- Nov. 21, 1971. He was a longtime employee of AT&T (formally Southwestern Bell). He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Jimmy possessed a certain compassion for helping his fellow veterans and those in need. Jimmy is proof that there is still good in this world; he truly made this world a better place. His friends and family will sorely miss his wit, generosity and heartfelt smile. He will be forever loved.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 27 years Elizabeth Elstner, children: Gina(Benny), Derek, James(Mykel), and Michell, siblings, Ricky Lee and Bobby Jr., grandchildren: Ethan Jimenez, Reina Bergeaux, Kade Gates, Dylan Gates, Bryson Bergeaux. He is predeceased by his parents, Albert William and Ella Lee Elstner.

The family will receive visitors on May 26, 2017 from 9 am to 10 am, the funeral service will begin at 10 am followed by the inturnment at Brookside Memorial Park.
