He leaves behind 3 children, twins, son, Mario Castillo, and daughter, Maria Neri, husband Edgar, daughter, Velma Puente, husband Manuel. He also leaves behinds 2 step-sisters, Maricela Rios and Socorro Trevino, 4 step-brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jimmie has 5 grandchildren, Anthony Castillo, Marissa Neri Bermejo, David Neri, Isaac and Gino Puente. He has 2 great- grandchildren, Isaac and Isabella.
Jimmie served in the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean War from 1950-1953 and was honorably discharged.
A memorial gathering will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 16, 219. Followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
